Washer can potentially eliminate by far the most system traces, and did

contender. Among those not cleaned by other products are recent
application lists for DirectX, recent network and printer connections,
and the internal list that Windows XP uses to identify often-used
programs in the Start menu. This last feature is useful for hiding just
how much you play Solitaire.
Window Washer is attractive and easy to use: Just configure it and
click Wash Now. You can also set it to clean automatically on various
events, including browser shutdown. It comes with plug-ins for cleaning
60 third-party applications; a total of 150 are available for download.
Like the other products, Window Washer can optionally overwrite the
files it deletes.
